Ways to have therapy with me
Experience therapy from the comfort of your own space. I offer therapy via video call or via email for which I have had additional, specialist training. We can also work in a 'hybrid' way too where some sessions are video and some are email.

For further insights into both email and video therapy, take a look at my blog posts on the topic. Click here for email, and here for video.
Video Sessions
Therapy via video call has that 'in-person' feel where you'll see the therapy space, my facial expressions and hear my tone of voice. You will also be seen but perhaps in a way that feels more comfortable than truly in-person sessions.

Video therapy is real-time. Together we'll be able to respond and explore your experiences as they arise within the session. If something difficult comes up, we can hold the space for it in the moment.

This option is good for you if:

-
You don't mind being seen or heard by me.
-
You'd struggle to meet a therapist in-person (time/travel constraints).
-
You'd like to be in a space that is familiar and comfortable to you (ensuring it is private and without disruptions).
-
You have a reliable internet connection.
-
You have a space where you won't be overheard or interrupted.

Email Sessions
Email therapy offers a quieter way to work. Take your time to reflect and write from where you feel comfortable—no video, no schedule, just you and your words. I’ll read your message with care and respond with a therapeutic reply within a set timeframe.

Email therapy isn’t real-time, which means you can write when you're ready and return to my responses whenever it helps. It allows space for deeper reflection and removes the pressure to respond immediately.

This option is good for you if:

-
You feel more comfortable writing than speaking.
-
Being seen makes you feel uncomfortable which makes speaking openly difficult.
-
You want flexibility and don’t want to commit to a regular session time.
-
You’d like to take your time to reflect and process at your own pace.
-
You'd like to be able to revisit sessions as and when you need them.
